Upgrade Credits

  Hi – I’m thinking of upgrading, but I have a few questions first. I’m pretty sure I need the Premium service right now, but what if I find I need the Business package in a few months (after the refund period but 9 months before the package ends)… Will I get a credit for the amount I paid for the Premium service?

  Also, I assume both Premium and Business contain domain mapping so I can cancel that service I’ve been using. Will I get a credit for that?

  Finally, is it possible to transfer a domain TO WordPress to act as the registrar? Not sure if I care much about this, but I’m curious.

  You should automatically see a discount on the Business bundle if you have the Premium bundle. If not, please reach out to us either here in the forums or through help@wordpress.com. We’ll make sure that gets added!

  You’ll want to keep the domain mapping up and running (rather than canceling). However, you should get a discount since you already own an upgrade in the bundle. For example, when you try to purchase the Premium bundle, you should see the price point as $79 vs. the normal $99.

  That is not possible right now. The best option would be to continue mapping your domain as you are now.
