  Hello, I’m interested in expanding my horizon as a freelance writer. I have queries about upgrading my plan and into getting my own domain. Would this be like a one time payment for the whole year? Thank you

  WordPress.com plans are being billed yearly and unless you opt-out they will automatically renew. 30 days after purchasing a plan you have the option to request a refund.
