upgrade domain name

  I’m looking at the $99. upgrade but have a question. In several publications I have my blog address listed as ozarkmountainhiker.wordpress.com. Will people who enter that address automatically come to my new domain name which would be ozarkmountainhiker.com? Love blogging even though I’m a “digital immigrant. “ Wanting to get rid of ads and think it might be worth the $99 to get other upgrades.
