upgrade from free hosting but without changing domain name

  I’m interested in upgrading from Free to Personal Plan in order to remove WordPress.com ads but I don’t want to change the existing domain name.
  Also I anticipate reverting to Free at some future date, and seek reassurance that the site will be unaffected apart from the ads reappearing.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi,

  Upgrading your WordPress.com blog to the Peronal plan removes ” wordpress.com” from your sites custom domain name as well as removes WordPress.com Ads.

  WordPress.com will automatically revert you to the Free plan if payment for your current plan cannot be processed in a few days.

  You can upgrade to the Personal plan and keep your .wordpress.com domain. There’s no need to register a custom domain.
