Upgrade from Personal to Premium Later

  If I upgrade to a Personal account from free and find in a couple months that I actually need Premium, can I change? And what would that look like?

  Hi there, yes you can upgrade your WPcom site to a higher plan at any time and the higher plan upgrade cost will be pro-rated depending on the remaining time on your original plan. You’ll be able to see that pro-rated price at https://wordpress.com/plans/ (after you upgrade, of course).
