Upgrade from South Africa

  Hi,

  I’d just like to make sure I can purchase the package upgrade from South Africa. I’m not too sure how this works, do I need to pay the $99 fee once off for a year? I don’t have to pay any extra charges or use a local hosting company if I purchase the upgraded plan directly from wordpress?

  Yes, you should be able to buy the upgrade without problems. If you buy the premium package, then it’s $99 per year. You can review what each plan includes in the following link: https://store.wordpress.com/plans/
  You don’t need to pay for local hosting and the premium plan already includes a custom domain (so you don’t need to pay for that either).
  You can pay by credit card and PayPal. To view all the details about payment options, you can check the following link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/
  Notice, that if you’re paying by PayPal, then your country has to be included in PayPal’s available countries, you can check that here: https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/country-worldwide
