Upgrade from wordpress FREE to PERSONAL

I am nearing may maximum limit of 3G for my free plan and I am looking into upgrading to personal. I have few questions:
1. Do I get to keep all my existing post, followers, comments etc. without having to do any mapping, migration or recreating the entry again? Is it as simple as upgrading to Personal and it’s like business as usual?
2. The 3G limit for Personal is on top of my 3G when I am in FREE plan? Right now I am at 80% usage, I am thinking of the right timing to switch to personal because I am assuming the 3G limit resets when I start my upgrade. If this is the case, I want to maximize my 3G free first before I switch. Can anyone confirm how this work?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, The Personal plan uses the original 3GB storage, it doesn’t increase it. If you want to increase the amount of storage on your site, that would mean upgrading to either the Premium (additional 10GB) or Business (unlimited) plan. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
One thing you can do is embed images from other places like Cloudup. It’s entirely free and has 200 GB or about 1000 images. Here’s more about that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/embedding-media-with-cloudup/
The only thing you won’t be able to do is embed Featured images or images used in the Gallery feature, but otherwise you could use this for all your other images.
I strongly suggest is that you resize and optimize all your images before uploading them in order to maximize the remaining 20% of your available storage so you can use it for those featured images and Gallery images.
