  Hello.

  Is there anyone who could give me the detailed easy way of upgrading to 3.0.1?
  Can’t figure it out, stuck on step 2 !! Anyone familiar or any staff willing to do this for me?
  I’m new to this and would appreciate any help…

  Since you are upgrading to 3.0.1 that means your site is not hosted on WordPress.COM, this site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
