  I received an email stating they were going to do an upgrade. I cannot find the c panel to turn off the auto updates and I cannot locate that area.

  Hi there,

  Of which site are you speaking? We do not use cPanel on WordPress.com. That is the hosting interface used by other hosting providers such as Bluehost.

  This WordPress.com account does not own any upgrades, and there is nothing in your account that is due to renew.
