  I would like to know, if I upgrade my blog, do I have to reset and change the name of my blog, and will I loose all my previous writings?

  Hi there,

  Upgrading your site to a paid plan will just make the extra features included in the plan available on your site. Nothing will move or change, and you also don’t need to change anything.

  If you upgrade to a paid plan you will have the option to replace your free example.wordpress.com address with a custom domain like example.com or example.blog, but you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to.
