Upgrade necessary to enable theme layout?

    We purchased the “Modern News” theme for our blog (school newspaper) and we cannot figure out how to make our blog look like the live demo. Do we need to have a premium version of wordpress to use the Modern News theme as it is demo’ed on the themes page? We currently have a regular version of wordpress for which we pay 27$ per month. At this point, we do not want to upgrade to Premium but would love to incorporate our content in our purchased Modern News theme seamlessly (and similarly to what is pictured in the thumbnail of the theme). Is this possible without upgrading a premium account?

    Hi there!

    You should be able to create a site similar to the demo without purchasing WordPress.com Premium. Since you purchased the Premium Theme: Modern News, you can receive direct support from the Theme Authors here:

    When you create a help request, please make sure to select or link to the WordPress.com blog you’re working on and include a clear description of the change you’re trying to make. It helps a lot.
