  To Whom it may concern:

  I currently have a domain dptop10.com that is about to expire and needs to be renewed as of 8/18/15. I noticed that your upgrade packages give you a free domain name so I purchased it with the intent of transferring the dptop10.com domain to it. However when I try to transfer the domain to the upgraded package it tells me that it is already registered with a wordpress account. I know it is and that’s why I’m trying to transfer it. Is there anyway this can be done?

  Custom domain names can’t be transferred to WordPress.COM, they are not setup for incoming domain name transfers – your name will need to stay registered elsewhere

  But I purchased the name through wordpress.com All i’m trying to do is link it to the upgrade.
