  I want to upgrade space. Can payment be made on my behalf from the USA? If yes, what is the procedure?

  “We” are the volunteers in the forum. “Why” is because we need to know that your blog is hosted here on WordPress.com, otherwise we can’t give an accurate answer.

  Methods of payment seem to be credit card or PayPal, all done through the Upgrade module on your blog’s Dashboard, so I’m not sure what you mean by “on my behalf from the USA”. Might be best to drop a note to Support if that doesn’t help. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  We end up with people using the wordpress.ORG software in this forum all the time, and sometimes they account for 20-30% of the posts here. We’ve even had people with self-hosted wordpress blogs trying to purchase upgrades here for those blogs (self-hosted blogs don’t need the upgrades). That is why we asked for a link to the blog. If we told you how to do it, and you bought it and didn’t need it, you would be irritated.

  You need to talk directly with staff on this as the volunteers here in the forums can’t answer this for sure. It used to be that someone could give a “gift” of so much credit to another blogger for them to use as they saw fit, but I don’t see anything about that in the dashboard anymore.
