-
Hi, I’ve just tried to upgrade to Premium and tried 3 cards that I usually use, but got AXLZNE error. What does it mean and how can we fix it?
Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you attempting to renew an existing upgrade? If so then are you logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that purchased the original upgrade?

See here Change Credit Card Details
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-credit-card-details/Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and renew any upgrades you purchased for the site.

Thanks for your response!
I am attempting to pay for a new upgrade. the plan was Personal, but we need to have Premium. I am logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that purchased the original upgrade, yes. -
Maybe it is important to say that the upgrade I attempted is before the previous plan has expired.
-
If and when you upgrade from Personal to Premium or from Premium to Business you pay the difference between the two plans. If you have a site with a custom domain and then upgrade to a plan, you’ll receive an automatic discount for the domain, but you will need to buy the plan using the same username account that already owns the domain.
I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

You’re welcome. Please be patient while waiting and read what follows.
The only accepted means of payment are in this support doc.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/
If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country. Note: You can buy a prepaid credit card from an approved country.
In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.
The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.
More about echecks here:
https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/helpcenter/article/?solutionId=13054&topicID=11500008&m=TCINOTE: Payments for WordPress.com subscriptions are recurring you will still need a card connected to your PayPal account, even if you have funds in that account. See also: Payments Using a PayPal Account

Hi –
I can see the premium plan has been added to your account under asprovaltaholidayhomes.com. It looks like you’re all set.

Ok. No problem. To be sure that I am on the same page, please confirm…
You’d like to upgrade the personal plan to the premium plan on we-art-friends.com? I’ll take care of that for you from my side. Just want to be sure before I go switching things up on you :)
-
Yes, that’s right, I’d like to upgrade to Premium the we-art-friends.com webiste.
Thank you! -
Hi –
Perfect. I’ve gone ahead and made this change for you. It should be reflected on your purchases page at wordpress.com/me/purchases/
I’ve also sent an email with a payment link in the amount of €48.00. That’s being delivered to the email address connected with your account.
Write back to me with any other questions – take care :)

OK, thank you for your efforts. But I did’t have a problem finding the link and adding a card. I had a problem with finalizing the payment – for some reason it is not accepted and I had paid before using the card as well as I do have more than enough balance in it to cover the purchase of the Premium package.
Anyway, I tried to pay again by following the link in your email and I get a request to reenter the card details. -
-
Evidently the problem is not my card but your system. In the end I am deprived of my right to upgrade my plan and am wasting time waiting for your help which does not help.
-
And by the way my card was just charged with 1 USD.
That’s the pre auth that your bank requires.
-
Sometimes banks will think online payments are fraudulent and preemptively mark them that way. Have you asked the bank about this already?
The upgrade is there to stay, so you don’t have to worry about that. I’d like to figure out the core issue though for future renewals and what not.
