upgrade plan

  Hi,

  for my sportsclub I am building a new site which I want to connect to the custom domain; I wish to upgrade the plan, but as we do not have a credit card I wanted to pay with paypal….opened a paypal account, but paypal does not seem to be able to complete the payment to wordpress….how do we proceed?

  Have you review this page about payment? If you scroll down, you can see paypal payment described – https://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/

  In particular,

  Payments Using a PayPal Account

  Purchases on WordPress.com can also be done using a PayPal account; however you can only connect your PayPal account the first time you’re purchasing an upgrade, or when you’re renewing your upgrade. Because payments for WordPress.com subscriptions are recurring you will still need a card connected to your PayPal account, even if you have funds in that account.

  Hi there,

  As James mentioned above, you will still need to have a credit card or a bank account linked to your PayPal account. That is a requirement by them for any payments to a subscription-based service like us.
