Upgrade plan

  Dear Forum,

  Now I am in a free plan. If I have to upgrades my plan to premium, whether the contents of my previous blog will be lost? in other words, must start from the beginning again?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi @alcibbum,

  No, you won’t lost anything! When upgrading, you’re going to get a number of add-on features related to your WordPress.com blog that will help it perform and look better.

  You won’t need to start over, but just keep going with what you’re doing with a bit of more features.

  In a premium plan, whether my blog can change name to be .com? without .wordpress in my url?

  Hi @alcibbum,

  fotoudaraindonesia.com is not available at the moment, which means that somebody else has already bought that domain and is using it.

  You can pick another domain (ie fotoudaraindonesia.co.uk etc): you need to find a domain which is available.

  To answer to your question, when buying the Premium plan you have a custom domain automatically mapped and connected with your original WordPress.com URL, which ‘hides’ the wordpress.com section of the URL and makes it more ‘personal’.
