Upgrade plan Checkout does not accept my nz mobile phone number

I am trying to upgrade my free plan to personal but the checkout for DOMAIN CONTACT INFORMATION does not accept my NZ mobile phone number (no landline number) which should be eg 64.21933… There seems no way it will accept it and it is frustrating because i can’t live chat to get an answer with the free plan!

takes my to a help page not another thread. Will I get a response from from the staff if I stay on this thread?

Dial the following international mobile code:
011 + 64 + Mobile Code** + The Number
So using the word press instructions (Enter a country code followed by a dot for example +1.6285550199). that should make the number to be input as 011.64.21933xxx but i suspect the WP system can’t handle a NZ Mobile number. I did try my old land line number 64.8288xxx but that did not work either. May be WP doesnt like kiwis!

Thanks for the additional information for Staff. I don’t use a mobile to blog and I don’t have such issues …lol :D (Canuck/Canadian humor). Please be patient while waiting for Staff help.

Hi there,
Please enter the number as +64.5555555. The + needs to be added to the NZ dialing code. That is most likely why this is failing.
For the country code you only use the number to call into a country, so +64 in this case, but not the code you use to call out of a country. (011 is the code that tells US phone networks that an international number will follow, and is specific to calling FROM the US so doesn’t form part of your number.)
