  I need to upgrade my plan but I need assistance finding the best plan for my needs. I will be selling digital products on my site and will also need to be able to have customers make payments online and download files. What plan do I need to select.
  2. Does the business plan allow me to pay monthly instead of annually.

  Woocommerce has downloadable product setup available.

  2. Does the business plan allow me to pay monthly instead of annually.

  Since you’re planning to sell products, you are likely to go with a Business WordPress plan which would give you access to 24/7 chat and email support. And no you will not be able to pay monthly on any WordPress plan including the business plan. All WordPress plans are billed in one yearly payment.
