Upgrade purchase via PayPal

  Hello!

  I was trying to buy an upgrade via PayPal. I have enough money on my PayPal account but when I tried to purchase the upgrade, it kept asking me for my credit card details. I don’t have a credit card – that’s why I wanted to pay with PayPal. Is this a PayPal issue or does WordPress.com require credit card information anyway?

  It’s bullshit, but it is increasingly common. YOu may choose to pay with Bitcoin instead, or just get a prepaid VISA or Mastercard.

  Ok, thank you for your help.

  That’s extremely annoying. I’ll think about paying with bitcoin but seriously, why offer paypal if that only means “pay with creditcard” anyway?
