Upgrade renewal change user

    I need to renew the Premium upgrade on my wordpress site, but the upgrade was initially purchased by another user. How can I do this? The upgrade will expire on 06/02/15 and I need to ensure that the associated domain scienceinpublic.org is not lost or disrupted.

    Hi there!

    To fix this, you’ll need the user that originally purchased the domain to do one of the following things:

    • One option is for that person to log in and renew it.
    • The second option is for that person to transfer the upgrade to you. The necessary steps are available here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/
    • Another option is to have that person log into this forum, post on this thread with specific instructions to renew and transfer the domain to you. After that, we will tag this thread for the Staff’s attention so they can assist you.

    Someone had a similar situation here, so if you have time, you can look through that and find the items that can help you.
