  Is it possible just to upgrade to professional for 6 months?

  Hi there, all WordPressdotcom upgrade plans are paid for the full year at checkout and are automatically renewed with the card on record unless you opt out.

  If you decide to cancel, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to request a refund on everything but domain registration which needs to be cancelled within 48-hours of purchase. Do note that there are no prorated refunds available. Here’s more about that:
