  I wanted to upgrade to personal account and wanted to know how many email addresses can i create in this package?

  To have your own email hosting with your personal domain name, there are few choices: GSuite (US$ 50 per mailbox per annum), Zoho mail (Free upto 25 mailboxes), GoDaddy, etc… the prices for these vary.

  Thanks for your response.

  What I understand through your response is that wordpress only supports web hosting and does not support email hosting. In order to have an email account, we’ll have to use a separate service on which wordpress will redirect. Am I correct?

  That’s right!!

  If you need a full email hosting with your custom domain, you can use the providers in the following support page which @yoga1103 mentioned previously.
