Upgrade to Personal Plan and Domain migration?

  Hello, have a quick question. I am considering to upgrade my account from Free to Personal Plan. And to migrate my domain name to remove the word “WordPress”. Would WordPress be helping me to migrate all my blog contents, my followers, likes and comments, etc?

  Hi there,

  If you transfer or map your domain name to your WordPress.com blog all of your contents as well your whole blog design and layout will be preserved and there’s no need to migrate anything.

  When a custom domain name is used, we simply hide the .wordpress.com address and automatically redirect all traffic to the new domain.
