Upgrade to Premium

    Hi, I want to upgrade my site to premium and I already have a domain name so will I have to bare the charges for mapping the domain too?
    Also, I have a theme downloaded which I really like and would like to use the one! Can I use that theme with WordPress ?
    Hoping to hear soon!

    Hi there,

    The Premium Plan includes a free domain or domain mapping, so you won’t need to pay anything extra to connect your domain here.

    However, you won’t be able to use the theme you downloaded. On WordPress.com we can use the themes listed at https://wordpress.com/themes/, but it’s not possible to upload any other themes.

    Custom themes can only be used on self-hosted WordPress.org websites. You can read a bit about the difference between that system and WordPress.com here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org

    There is no upgrade that changes this.
