Upgrade to premium and completing web design before switching my domain over

HI. I own my domain petermoon.com I also own petermoonband.com Both my domains are connected to the same design which I created at snap pages .com
I’m not satisfied with Snap Pages any more and I’m building a new site using Word Press. I want to upgrade to Premium so I can finish making my new design. I don’t want to shut off my old site at snap pages until I have the new one looking good and ready to function the way I want it to. Can you help me to get signed up for premium but allow me to keep my old site functioning for the next few weeks while I create the new design at wordpress, and then let me point the domain over to it once it’s done? -
You can continue building your site under its free subdomain: https://petermoonband.wordpress.com/
You won’t need to add your custom domain when it’s ready, but when you are ready to add it, we have two options:
Mapping allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/
A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
