Upgrade to premium doesn't work

Hello,
My name is Tom and I am from Belgium.
I am having an issue upgrading to a Premium account.
I tried to upgrade my trial premium with my VISA and PayPal but it doesn’t work.Trying to upgrade with VISA gave me an error.
Then I upgraded with PayPal and that seemed to work, but I didn’t receive a mail from PayPal and I still see that I use the trial version.I made the site frituurtmeulentje.wordpress.com and I want to map the domain: frituurtmeulentje.be
I cannot map that domain if I don’t have a premium account.
Can you please help me.

Nope. You can register that domain with another company/register agent and then, map the domain.
If you have already registered that domain (frituurtmeulentje.be)
you need map the domain:

Indeed, I already registered that domain with another register agent.I tried this before, and now I tried again.
When I enter my domain.be and hit next I am redirected to the page where I have to enter my VISA details.So I believe I have to upgrade to premium before I can map my personal domain to a wordpress.com domain.
Anyhow,
The error says: transaction is not allowed.
I will try again later, maybe the VISA error will be gone then.Thx

It seems to work, but I have to ask my register agent to change the domain’s name servers to
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMI will contact them.
And now I found out I cannot install widgets an plugins because I use a .com instead of a .org domain.
That’s a pitty.I’ll have to check if I can change that.

That’s a pitty.Nope. Domain type (.com .me .net .org) has nothing to do with plugins.

There are a lot of widgets and plugins available on a .com platform.
But if I want to add extra widgets or plugins I cannot do that. There is no ‘plugin’ item in the menu to do so.So if want to add a widget I found somewhere on the internet, I have to use the platform .org. Am I correct ?

As you mentioned previously, the name servers for the domain will need to be changed to the following in order for the domain to work:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM NS2.WORDPRESS.COM NS3.WORDPRESS.COMCan you let me know if you have any trouble with that change?
Regarding payment, the errors indicate that there might be something up with your PayPal account. Do you have a valid backup payment method setup with enough funds?
When you say the VISA card gave you an error, can you elaborate on what error message you received? You should be able to update your card by clicking “Update Credit Card” here:

I wasn’t home today to answer.I’ve send a mail to my domain register agent, to change the name servers, so they will look into it tommorow, I hope.
About the VISA,
I will wait untill my domain frituurtmeulentje.be is available. -
