Upgrade to Premium: followers automatically redirected?

  After years with the free WP an upgrade to Premium is now needed. If I go for a custom domain name that comes with an upgrade, do existing followers automatically get redirected there when they try to go to my current url that they are used to?

  Yes, we automatically redirect all traffic to and from the new domain. There’s nothing you need to configure on your end.
