Upgrade/Transfer

  Hello,

  I’m currently working on transferring and building a website from Wix to WP. I was wondering if it is a possibility to upgrade my plan to Premium and not transfer the domain currently but at a later date once the site is ready to be published? If that’s not a possibility and I would have to transfer the domain with upgrading my plan, what would happen to the site currently published through Wix?

  Hi there,

  You can upgrade to any plan that you want and start building your site using a free .wordpress.com address. This way your current site will remain intact.

  When you’re done, you can then transfer the domain and launch the new site.
