I am thinking of bringing my main domain from Google Domains to WordPress all together because you have a design platform and you host too which I like those 2 things together.
I have a lot at stake in doing this. Are you willing to donate initial credit because I am indeed a 501c3 nonprofit and I understand that WordPress discounts nonprofits quite nicely. Please send me a direct email, (email visible only to moderators and staff). I am deaf – this is a sure fire way to reach me. Or, text my text-only number at [contact info redacted by staff].
In fact before I switch I want to know what you, as WordPress, can do for me that others hosts and design platforms cannot?

Hi there,
A couple of things: First, we do not offer any special pricing for non-profits. I don’t know where you heard that we do, but that is not accurate.
Hosting a site on WordPress.com is completely free, with unlimited bandwidth, for life. Our upgrades only add optional extra features to the free site, and we don’t offer any discounts on those.
Second, it is not possible to transfer a domain to WordPress.com. So if you have a domain with Google, you will need to keep the domain with them, and connect it here using a domain mapping upgrade.
I want to know what you, as WordPress, can do for me that others hosts and design platforms cannot?

I did get an email from someone that said they were willing to upgrade me to trial the business plan for 3 months. To date, that still has not been done and no further response in email from her. I got the impression from this email that she wanted me to upgrade my current trial plan to the business level but my point being is that it wants to charge me for anything. I was not trying to create extra posts in the forum – I simply reposted in a different section for further help. Bear in mind also sir that I am a WP beginner so I am still getting used to your forums and where and what to post. This is a main reason that i want upgraded to the business plan – because of the business that I am and because i am a beginner I need frequent/regular technical support. I look forward to your reply herein.

Your representative in this email also stated that with the business plan there was no charge to map my domain through you. I cannot get that to go through either because I am not allowed to upgrade the trial
