Upgrade Triggers Crash

Every time I click on the $99 Upgrade plan, it crashes the page, causing everything (including the URL in the browser window) to blink rapidly and no real navigation possible. just crazy blinking of the elements of the page. Please Advise!!!

This sounds like it might be a browser issue. Can you please clear your browser’s cache and cookies and try again? Also make sure that your flash player is up to date and that you have third-party cookies enabled in your browser.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/Additionally, can you check if you don’t perhaps have a browser extension that might be blocking JavaScript. You can also try disabling all your plugins and see if the transaction goes through then.
Lastly, please check if you are able to make the purchase if you use a different browser, if none of the above helps.

I have tried it now with Mozilla after first trying Chrome. Blew up the site in exactly the same way. My Chrome settings currently allow third-party cookies and I have no extensions at the moment. Do I need to get something to make it work?

It’s working for me, so I still suspect the problem might be restricted to your computer or connection.
Just to make sure what you’re talking about, are you clicking on My Sites ->Plans and then Upgrade Now under the Premium Plan?
If possible, can you try to access that page using a different connection, or else try resetting your modem/router?
To check if this is perhaps a JavaScript error, can you please take a screenshot of that page with the web console open? You can find instructions how to do that here:

Here is the screen shot you requested. the modem and router seem to be working fine. I am sure it’s my computer, just don’t know what to do. The page in question is when I go to my profile>Manage Purchases>Upgrade>and then click on the $99 Learn More option.

Sorry, it seems I wasn’t completely clear. I need a screen shot of the page where the upgrade is failing, to see if any errors are showing in the console for that page :)

You shouldn’t see an Upgrade option there at all.
