Upgrade url to .com

    Hello,

    I want to know what happens if I make the upgrade form .wordpress.com to .com.

    Will wordpress keep a page on my .wordpress.com site notifying of the switch to .com?

    What is the impact on search engines? I have been blogging for years and managed to get search engines to find me. I am afraid upgrading to .com will put all my years of writing to waste.
