Upgrade URL Without Subscribing To The Premium Plan?

  I’ve just setup a blog and have chosen the free option with .wordpress.com in my url. Is it possible to just upgrade my url (to change .wordpress.com to .com) without subscribing to the Premium plan? I can’t find the option anywhere.

  You should be able to register a new domain without having to buy the Premium bundle as domain registration is one of the few items that are exempted from the recent upgrade policy changes at WordPress.com.

  Yes, you can still purchase just a domain name by going to Store > My Domains in your Dashboard. Take a look at the guide below for more information:
