Upgrade web domain

  I registered for the free .wordpress.com blog. I would now like to pay the $24/year to remove the .wordpress part, but am not sure how to do this. It looks like my only option is to upgrade to the pro package which I do not require at this time. Thanks.

  You can go to yourdomains page and purchase a custom domain without purchasing the premium upgrade. Our support page provides instructions on how to register a domain:
