upgraded and still getting embarrassing ads

  I’ve upgrade my blog but still getting ads. How long does it take to become ad free?

  Where exactly are you seeing these ads please?

  All WordPress.com placed ads are easy to identify as this link accompanies them http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/

  Any other ads you see are not placed on the blog by WordPress.com. They are coming from a browser extension or toolbar.   I believe they are too because I removed my Ad-Blockers and could not see any ads at all.
