UPGRADED DOMAIN: Not showing up when I type url

    I just upgraded to a new domain name with WordPress this evening. When I type the new url, nothing’s showing up, as if it doesn’t exist. The old .wordpress.com url isn’t working either because I set it up to redirect to the new .com.

    Has anyone had this happen? Does it take a few hours for a new domain to become active?

    Yes – it can take a few hours (or even days) for a new domain name to propagate around the world. That’s the way DNS works, and it’s why we don’t automatically enable domain mapping immediately.

    im having the same problem- and right now when i click on my blog from – my wordpress dashboard it actually sends me to my OLD SITE that im trying to replace.

    essentially the exact opposite of what i want to happen, is happening-

    :'(

    i don’t know if i have the same problem here- where i just need to wait.
    i think i followed the nameserver protocol correctly
