Upgraded domain, now can’t access blog

  Hi,

  I payed $14.97 to change my domain name from tobyclarke.wordpress.com to tobyclarke.com

  I then changed it in my settings to make tobyclarke.com my primary url.

  I now can’t access my blog or see it at all when type in the url. Please can someone help me get my blog back and make it accessible for everyone to see at tobyclarke.com

  Hi Toby,
  I’m having a similar problem. I signed up for just a username because I wanted my own domain name and didn’t want the yourname.wordpress.com URL.
  I then thought I’d be able to sign up for a domain but can’t find where to do this. Do I need to create a yourname.wordpress.com blog and then upgrade it like you did?

  You can’t sign up for a domain if you haven’t got a blog already; there’s nothing to apply it to. It’s like buying an address without buying a house.
