Upgraded Domain, won't work.

    Recently I purchased a new domain name for my blog so instead of having wordpress.com at the end it would just be citymeetstheshore.com. When I tried to switch over and use my new domain as the primary one, my browser continuously says the page cannot be found. I’ve looked through support and read up on redirecting and mapping but I’m not quite sure what the problem is. Do I need to get a host such as Go Daddy in order for it to work?
