Upgraded to 3.1 and site not working
-
I made the school boy/girl error by upgrading to the newest wordpress version without backing up my site’s files. I know, I know – I’m beating myself up about it.
But now nothing works – my site, the dashboard, post pages, nothing.
All I did was click the ‘update to wordpress 3.1’ by clicking the link at the top of the dashboard.
I have a wordpress.com hosted site with its own domain name. I can’t undo the upgrade and can’t deactivate the plug-ins (as recommended on the forums) as when I click plug-ins on the dashboard I get the following error message:
Warning: require_once(/home2/smemarke/public_html//wp-includes/classes.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/smemarke/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-twitter-forums-plugin/twitter-forums.php on line 27
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home2/smemarke/public_html//wp-includes/classes.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib64/php:/usr/lib/php’) in /home2/smemarke/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-twitter-forums-plugin/twitter-forums.php on line 27
That error message comes up whatever I click – help! *takes deep breaths*
Thank you in advance – look forward to hearing from someone cleverer than me, Lucy
