Hi there!
It appears you added a domain connection for farmeducation.org and set this domain as the primary address on your site. However, the domain still has custom nameservers. If you own this domain, you’ll need to add the WordPress.com nameservers or IP addresses to point it to WordPress.com.
The reason a plugin can’t be installed yet is that the domain, which is set as the primary address, is not yet loading the WordPress.com site.
Please click here for the instructions to point the domain to your WordPress.com site.
If you don’t want to point the domain to WordPress.com yet, you can unset your domain as the primary address so that you can use the WordPress.com address/staging URL to install a plugin on your site and continue building it until you’re ready.
Please let me know if that’s your preference. We can set the WordPress.com address (farmeducationdotorg.wordpress.com) as the primary address (or you can do this yourself; here’s how). Then you will be able to install plugins and build your WordPress.com site.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to learn more about the site you’re creating with us. Would you mind telling us more about your new site? What’s it for, and what features do you need on it? Based on your site requirements, we’ll be happy to share specific guides and suggestions and help you accordingly.
