Upgraded to https now dashboard behaving oddly

    Hello All…
I am hoping someone can offer some suggestions of how best to proceed. I have an online store powered by wordpress (hosted by Dreampress) and woocommerce. In order to appear more professional I invested in a security certificate to make the site more secure but ever since making this change my wordpress install has been behaving very oddly. Among the problems I’ve experienced are…
    1. When I hit update on a product I’ve amended, my dashboard disappears and I get sent to my sites page not found page, if I simply refresh the page I am returned to my product admin page with a note that my page has updated.
    2. When I try to publish a new product page, I get a page that mixes my dashboard page and page not found page making the whole thing unreadable. Again a refresh once or twice and it eventually goes through as it should.
    3. When adding related products to product variations the suggestion box that pops up with items that feature the letters I’ve typed just says loading failed. If I repeat the process three or four times it eventually works as it should.
    4. When trying to remove an individual variation I get ‘things are happening’ swirling circle but then nothing. It just keeps spinning.
Unfortunately I am not terribly technically minded so I have no idea if this is an issue with wordpress and woocommerce, some setup issue I have created when adding the extra security, an issue with the installation made by Dreamhost or issues with my browser.
Is there anyway (by use of a plugin, or a debug type deal) that I can check the site automatically that will highlight any errors so I can at least start to move towards fixing things. While the issues don’t appear to have affected the frontend of the site, it has made adding new content very difficult.
Any suggestions, expressions of sympathy, hilarity emoticons much appreciated.

You are confusing wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting with your wordpress.COM hosted blog. They are not the same. You cannot run woocommerce on any site that’s hosted by wordpress.COM. You can only run it on a wordpress.ORG install on paid hosting. It is only for is for individual WordPress.org installations.

The only way to resolve issues with woocommerce accounts is to contact the team directly at woocommerce.com. https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/?_ga=1.63687215.180389535.1487007371

This is wordpress.COM support. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.
    (3) sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.com account page.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    wordpress.org support
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
See also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/ for app support.

    Jetpack support
Some Jetpack solutions are here http://jetpack.com/support/
Others are in the Jetpack support forum at WordPress.org
    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
However, if help cannot be found at either one then they can file a Jetpack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

I see, my mistake. As with all things wordpress, that’s as clear as mud.
    Thanks anyway.
