Upgraded to Personal, But It Created a Second Site
-
Hello!
I’ve been working on transferring a blog to WordPress.com, and have spent days cleaning up content, etc. When I went to upgrade my plan to Personal for
spotofmummery.wordpress.com
I mapped my existing domain (spotofmummery.com) to it. This worked just fine.
However, I quickly noticed instead of applying the plan to the original blog above, it created a new second site, and applied the plan to that empty blog instead! That wasn’t what I wanted it to do! The site that got the plan was actually:
spotofmummerycom.wordpress.com
Is there any way I can get the plan applied to the first blog I created (that has all the work I put into it), which was what I really wanted. I didn’t mean for it to create a second site altogether!
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Actually, I think I’ve resolved this bit of it. I went ahead and refunded the wrong site and remapped to the right one. Thanks for reading!

Glad you got it! With your plan, you can also reach support directly here as needed:

Hoping that helps. Cheers!
