  Hi,
  I’m a bit confused. I have upgraded to premium, mostly for more space, no adverts and more versatility.
  Can you tell me what I would gain by moving to wordpress.org and if I did, I imagine the address of my website would change meaning it would not be viewable to those using the old address.

  This is a quick primer of the differences between the two:

  WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  Generally, what I tell people is, if you do not have a specific reason to move to a self-hosted WordPress.org site, then you probably shouldn’t bother doing so. If you have a specific reason (wanting to use a particular plugin for example), the I would encourage you to make the move. But otherwise, you will just be making more work and probably more expense for yourself.
