upgraded to premium for landing page and MailChimp connection

  I want a landing page that connects to mail chimp, the developer said I could not do that with the free blog. I upgraded to the premium, will this work or do I need something different?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com doesn’t support embedding a MailChimp form or landing page on your site here, so there isn’t a way to do that even with the Premium plan. I’d recommend adding a link from your site to the MailChimp signup form if you’d like to send visitors to sign up for your MailChimp newsletters.

  Another option is to set up a WordPress site using the WordPress.org software with a different website hosting provider. That’s different from sites hosted here at WordPress.com — we have more details about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org if you’d like to learn more about that.

  If you decide you don’t want the Premium upgrade on your WordPress.com site here, you can cancel that from you My Upgrades page.

  No, WordPress.com has a lot of built-in features that were inspired by popular plugins, but it isn’t possible to install additional plugins on WordPress.com. Additional plugins can only be installed on self-hosted WordPress sites (using the software from WordPress.org).
