Hello @diannasnell09,
As I mentioned on the previous threads,You can contact the staff directly using this form: https://wordpress.com/help/contact/ or use this public forum to reach the staff, if you are under a free account.
As live chat support is only to the accounts that have upgraded to a paid WordPress.COM plan.
You can read more about live chat support here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/live-chat/Thanks! 🙂

CORRECTION:
As live chat support is only available* to the accounts that have upgraded to a paid WordPress.COM plan. -

@otpidusprime – Again, please do not request people to contact Staff via the contact form in their dashboard as posting there will create another post here in the forums for those who do not have a paid upgrade. Thanks.

@justjennifer
I had no idea about that. Will keep that in mind.So what’s the difference between posting a question here and contacting staff via the contact form?
Does it add the modlook tag automatically?
-
@otpidusprime The information in the help/contact form from a user who has no paid upgrade is routed to the public forums for assistance from the community. Forum threads posted in this way have an additional tag automatically added – wpcomhelp. Otherwise, there is no difference to posting directly in the community forums.
If a forum volunteer is unable to solve the user’s question or the user needs assistance directly from Staff (domains, renewals, etc.), the volunteer or user can add the modlook tag to the thread Tags section for Staff attention. Staff also regularly scan the forums for such threads.
Users with a paid upgrade who post in the help/contact form submit a support ticket directly to Staff. That’s what “Email & Live Chat Support” means.
In other words, the contact forms and where they are submitted are different for each type of user.
I hope that helps explain better my above reply.

You’re welcome.
@diannasnell09 accept my apologies for having hijacked your thread in the name of a good cause. :)

I’ll reach out via email, @diannasnell09
And @justjennifer is correct: http://wordpress.com/help/contact routes to the forums if the user does not have any upgrades.
Cheers, all :)
