Upgrades?

    Hey guys, i’d like to ask if you are considering few upgrades that would be of great help.

    1. Allow java!!! I wanna put a banner-exchange in order to make my blog popular, but it doesn’t work! This of cos would mean allowing the ads but why not. Of cos you’ll have to find some way to exclude users who abuse the free hosting.

    2. Allow Flash!!! I wanna use Meebo, which you obviously like not on sidebars but on a page. Again not possible. I don’t see why.

    The why is easy: security. The way WP.com blogs are built, you essentially share the guts of your blog with everyone else using the same theme. That exposes anyone on that theme to the security risks found acceptable by the dumbest or most naive users of that theme; this is a high risk, if certain things are allowed. Flash is one of those things. So is javascript.
