  I am becoming extremely frustrated, I am trying to upgrade to custom design and it wont let me push the “get custom design” button i am becoming angry because i am trying to contact someone from wordpress but they obviously dont have a telephone for support please help me or tell me who i can get in touch with thank you

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog and purchase upgrades for it here > Dashboard > Store > My upgrades.

  Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

  Oh for pity sake! http://rubysbeautyblog.com/ is NOT a free hosted WordPress.com blog and you can’t purchase any upgrades from WordPress.com for that site. Upgrades at WordPress.com are only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs and no others hosted elsewhere.

  http://rubysbeautyblog.com/ is web hosted by godaddy.com

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate sites. They have separate logins and you cannot purchase any upgrades for blog that is not being hosted by WordPress.com from WordPress.com.

  Ok thank you so much so if I were to just go through WordPress.com it would be easier to customize my blog?

  No. You have the ability to customize the blog you have to an unlimited extent; we have LESS ability to customize the blogs here at WP.com. You do not need an upgrade at all. Just start coding.

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
