upgrades

  Hi…I have to upgrade again…so does this mean if I spend 50.00 to upgrade now then i have to pay that the same time every year…right now I pay 60.00 every May for video press and 20.00 for upgrade I purchased in October every year and now if I purchase the 50.00 upgrade then I will have to pay that every July also…as you can see I am confused? seems like a lot of money….Thanks, Julie

  Note: All upgrades are per year and per blog. As such, you will need to renew upgrades after each year – and – if you have multiple blogs, you will need to purchase the upgrades for each individual blog, as necessary. http://en.support.wordpress.com/upgrades/

  Although you did not ask about this in order to avoid any future confusion also note that purchasing a domain name and domain mapping upgrade does not result in escaping the TOS (terms of Service)

  Before Upgrading
  The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and must still abide by our Terms of Service accordingly.

  What happened to 5 GB to buy? that’s quite a jump from having to buy 5 to 15…I only need 5…other wise I will have to pay the 50 dollars each year along with the other 5GB I already purchased..that’s 70 $per year(one 5Gb and one 15GB)…if I could get another 5 it would only be 40 $ per year(two 5GB upgrades)…can I still get 5GB?

  @lockeporter WordPress.com blogs come with 3 GB for free. You can add space upgrades in increments:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

  If you only need an extra 5 GB of space, then you should be able to purchase the 5GB space upgrade and let any other space upgrades expire. If you have any more specific questions about your account in particular, please contact support at http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/
