Upgrades Tab Missing?

  I’m looking to subscribe to VideoPress, however I don’t have an “upgrades” tab anywhere in my dashboard. I’ve installed a custom theme purchased through themeforest.com, could that have affected anything? I have a few plugins installed as well, if that may affect things additionally.
