  I want to upgrade and get rid of wordpress in the name. How do I do that?

  Hi there, removing the “wordpress.com” part of your domain requires a custom domain. This is a paid upgrade offered by WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

  Alternatively, you can purchase a plan which comes with a custom domain and lots of additional features: https://wordpress.com/pricing

  In terms of wanting to upgrade, if there’s anything specific you’d like to do, let us know and we can try and advise you on the most suitable upgrades for you. :)
