  Hi! My question is, if I had a premium upgrade but choose to cancel it for various reasons, would I be able to go back to it at some point later on? With the same card? Will that be okay or would I have to use other card/choose another plan?

  It would be OK to purchase a Premium plan upgrade with the same card, even if you purchased it previously and canceled your service. This would be the same for all the WordPress.com plans.
